Non-Medical Prescriber - RGN or RMN - Substance Misuse - Wirral - £33,000 - £36,000 per annum (Dependent on Experience)Full Time - 37.5 hours per weekThis is a great opportunity for a Non-Medical Prescriber ( RGN or RMN ) to work with one of the leading and highly regarded substance misuse charities and will based in the Wirral area.As a Non-Medical Prescriber, you will be an integral part of the team delivering comprehensive clinical services across the city, providing clinical sessions in core sites you will be responsible for delivering excellent care for service users affected by substance misuse issues.As a Non-Medical Prescriber - RGN or RMN you will:Engage with people who have substance misuse problems and providing them with advice, screening and clinical interventions to address their substance misuse issues, and primary health care (including blood borne viruses). Liaise with the Doctor to offer substitute prescribing regimes to improve social functioning and in relation to changes to client treatment.Develop and progress community detoxification, taking the lead in ensuring that the Recovery service has a comprehensive and open response community detoxification.Ensure that substance management plans are signed off and reviewed as necessary.Assess the appropriateness of medication prescribed.As a Non-Medical Prescriber - RGN or RMN you will have:First level registered nurse with a current PIN and three years post qualification experience.Qualified Non-Medical PrescriberA level of recent experience of working within substance misuse treatmentA clear understanding of the need for and ability to deliver quality servicesSound and demonstrable knowledge of clinical prescribing issuesKnowledge of the issues facing substance misusers including appropriate medical interventions, social care and health issuesFor further information please call Ryan on 0161 234 9793 or send your CV to r.speak@liquidhc.com
