English teacher Bromley Specialist centre for children with challenging behaviour and mental health needs 145-175 daily rate Outstanding Ofsted 2017 Excellent CPD on offer Supportive leadership team A small school for children who are unable to access the national curriculum due to challenging behaviour, medical needs or mental health issues are looking for an English teacher from January. This English teacher role will be a full time position and the school are looking to interview potential English teachers ASAP for the position. English teachers will be expected to teach up to GCSE level and accommodate student's needs in all sessions. The majority of the learning is completed on a 1:1 basis but some small group work will be required. The school is based across 2 sites, 1 in Beckenham and the other in Denmark Hill and the successful English teacher will be expected to work across both sites as and when necessary. The successful English teacher will have: Taught English up to GCSE level and able to differentiate sessions accordingly Has at least 1 years' UK experience teaching in a PRU or mainstream secondary school Can use a range of behaviour management techniques Has SEN teaching experience Has QTS (essential, unfortunately the school cannot accept applications from unqualified teachers) The position will be to start in January and the school are looking to interview ASAP for the role.
