3rd Line Support Engineer - VMware - Powershell - Application - Microsoft - Rota based

An incredibly exciting opportunity has arisen to join a major Broadcasting software supplier. Joining a highly dedicated and growing team. You will be working as a 3rd Line Support Engineer working onsite at a global organisation within a larger support team.

The role comes with lots of variation, it will include both Project work and BAU (Business as usual) support of the systems. You'd really get to become a specialist, with various areas for progression both inside the company and in the wider sector.

The position will be Rota based, working on average 7 out of 14 days (40 hour weeks). With shift patterns of 8am-8pm, 11am-11pm or 9am-5pm which then includes compensated shift and on-call time.

As a member of the 3rd Line Support team you will be:

- Supporting the applications used by the organisation

- Working within the networking arena - supporting VMware solutions

- An escalation point for the 1st and 2nd line teams, becoming a specialist within the area

- Working within an ITIL environment

- Assuming ownership of issues, completing the diagnosis and solving the technical issues

- At critical times, ensuring escalations are dealt with an investigated thoroughly

- Keeping up to date with the world of IT, possibly using your knowledge to implement new ideas and strategies
