My client is an instantly recognisable British luxury retailer, currently expanding and improving its online offering - and they need an Online Merchandiser to support the project. The role will have responsibility for planning the ecommerce trade of menswear, ladieswear and fashion accessories (handbags & jewellery etc). It reports into the Head of Online Trade, and carries a huge amount of autonomy.
The key function will be to maximise revenue from the online channel through analysis of KPIs, owning the product and business centre profits for the channel and taking astute and commercially actions. You'll work closely with the merchandising team to ensure the on-line offering is fully integrated and supported in the wider business. Close liaison with the marketing team will be key, aswell as working with photographers and designers to create one of the best online shopping experiences in the luxury market.Core responsibilities will include:

·Approval of products for sale online, including “web specials”

·Producing KPI reports for online sales and implementing lessons learnt accordingly

·Manage all promotional activity on the site, site navigation and search, using website management system to build product hierarchy

·Utilise all content provided and ensure brand synergies are upheld across all channels.

·Building strong relationships across platforms, channels and all key stakeholders

The perfect candidate will have strong demonstrable online merchandising experience, ideally from a fashion retail background. You will be proficient in all key packages for merchandising analytics. Ideally you will have experience of extracting and utilising data and web analytics tool and other management information systems.
