Position: RTT Field Service Engineer
Location: Must be located within an hour’s commute of Salfords, Surrey
Salary: £32,000 to £35,000 + car

The RTT Field Service EngineerRole:
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced RTT Field Service Engineer to join a friendly and hardworking team within a successful growing company.

The RTT Field Service Engineer is responsible for Installing and Maintaining the Service HBS equipment sites specific to RTT and other equipment in the assigned area.

Additional responsibility includes maintaining and developing strong relationships with customer, distributor representatives and ensuring Customer Satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities of the RTT Field Service Engineer:
  • Maintain all RTT models in the assigned area.
  • Total system level trouble-shooting on complex multi-system problems. Proficient IT skills
  • Daily interface with operators, technicians and BHS managers on equipment status issues.
  • Site surveys; Carry site surveys for efficient installation of RTT systems
  • Relationships: Helps train others where necessary; participate as active member of Local Customer Teams as appropriate.
  • Ensure common practices and efficient methods are applied for Service provided and adheres to SLA requirements
  • Responsibly complete all administration tasks in timely and complete manner.
  • Ensure timely completion of Field Modification Instructions and Planned Maintenance, corrective repair, Service inspections documentation for assigned accounts and files SRs promptly.
  • Play a key role in complex and multifunctional site installations. Assist senior engineers in installation and other related work. Shares best practices.
  • Proactively seek training to keep up-to-date with technological developments in own modality/modalities.
  • Promptly escalate any quality or integrity issue.
  • Environment, Health & Safety (EHS): Comply with the EHS Policies and applicable laws and regulations. Identify and correct hazards and unsafe conditions.

  • Demonstrate behaviour consistent with the company’s Code of Ethics and Conduct.

Skills & Experience Required:
  • Qualified to degree level in Electrical and/or Electronics or equivalent, such as HND
  • Technical analytical & Trouble-shooting skills
  • Field service experience
  • Strong customer skills
  • Strong IT Skills with knowledge of networking
  • Ability to work independently with minimum direction
  • High work standards - qualitatively, demonstrates initiative and motivation
  • PLC knowledge advantageous
  • Knowledge of X-ray or inspection systems advantageous
