AUDIT & ACCOUNTS SENIOR
Redmill consulting’s client is a leading Fife based Practice currently looking for an Audit & Accounts Senior. This role will give you the opportunity to manage a portfolio of clients with a varied workload of audit, accounts and corporate finance work. The role will allow you to manage a team typically working with a wide variety of clients from OMB’s to medium sized companies with a turnover of up to £30m. Strong client base Varied work i.e. working on Audit, Accounts & Corporate Finance Excellent location – free parking is available and the offices are near the train station Work-life balance – Overtime where necessary will be paid Working in a relaxed but professional environment Competitive salary & benefits package Job The role of Audit & Accounts Senior will give you the opportunity to be involved with the following: Lead relevant audit assignments from planning through to completion Ensuring audit fieldwork and audit file is completed, with any contentious areas or budget issues communicated to the relevant manager/partner at an early stage Undertake file preparation and review work as necessary to ensure the accuracy of completed work and assignments being provided to client Preparation of formal reports as required e.g. share valuations, due diligence reports Attending meetings with clients and their advisers as required Provide support and guidance to team members in both technical and non-technical matters Manage your portfolio of clients from requesting books stage through to obtaining final signed accounts Ensure that the workflow and audit planner tools are properly maintained In conjunction with the manager, plan and schedule work within in your portfolio Be commercially aware, including identifying potential for cross referring services to clients Liaise with the audit manager regarding any suggestions for improvements in working practices to help streamline processes and improve efficiencies within the audit department You As an Audit & Accounts Senior you will be skilled and/or qualified in the following areas: Knowledge of carrying out the above tasks Ideally a Qualified Accountant but applications will be considered from Part-Qualified or QBE’s with the relevant skills Audit experience is essential Some accounts preparation experience is strongly preferable but this area can be developed Supervising experience would be beneficial Knowledge of CCH and/or Xero would be beneficial MS Excel knowledge is essential Should this role be of interest please apply by attaching your most up to date CV.
