Job duties and responsibilities:

  • Manage and visit a caseload of learners monthly in line with the company standards
  • Deliver Functional Skills training and support to each learner as required
  • Motivate and drive learners to achieve their work based qualifications within agreed timescales
  • Support the learning process through flexible learning units and facilitating workplace on the job training as required, including classroom based delivery
  • Plan the assessment process with learners and employers; observe, record assessment, feedback and complete all documentation
  • Throughout learner qualification provide information, advice and guidance
  • Maintain paperwork to the required standard; accurately and within a timely fashion

The successful candidate will have the following skills:

  • A relevant assessing qualification (A1, D32, TAQA, CAVA etc)
  • A relevant teaching qualification (7307, CTLLS, DTLLS, PGCE, Cert.Ed etc)
  • Experienced in delivering Generic qualifications; Business Admin, Customer Service, Sales, Team Leading & Management
  • Occupational competency at Management level
  • Proficient in the use of e-portfolio systems
  • Experienced in delivering functional skills
  • Classroom/Workshop delivery experience
