Siemens Healthineers are currently looking to recruit a Technician to join the Magnet Termination and Switches team. This position will require the successful candidate to workon eitherthe weekend shift,includes two days during the week, or weekday rotating shift , earlies and lates.

What are my responsibilities?

You would be responsible for ensuring the electrical terminationof superconductive magnetcoil assemblies to the appropriatestandards. The role will include some Assembly work inclusive of thedisciplines required.

What do I need to qualify for the role?

- Experience of working within a manufacturing environment, preferably with experience in electrical assemblies.
- Competent in the use of soldering equipment, preferably in the use of tin and superconductive alloys.
- Use of rotating equipment, overhead cranes and lift trucks.
- Ability to work in a safe manner and to useelectrical test equipment (Multimeters, breakdown testers and power supply units).
- To workto standard procedures and follow build instructions.
- Use mechanical and pneumatic tools.
- Ability to read engineering drawings.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong team player.
- Computer literate.
