The Opportunity

Every now and again we work on positions that really get us excited. We are on the lookout for a Head of Mobile Product Management who are looking to get their teeth into something special. Our client are a leading technology service provider with one of the strongest brands in the UK. They have doubled their investment in this area and are using the strength of their globally recognized brand to rapidly grow their customer base across SME’s, Enterprise and Public Sector Organisations

The Role

The Head of Mobile is a strategic leadership role, defining strategy and leading a team that works closely with our change, commercial, IT, engineering, pricing, marketing, strategy and sales teams driving performance of our products from conception to retirement.

Duties include but are not limited to

*Work with the product team, finance and other stakeholders to build and maintain develop clear understanding of portfolio P&L and develop and execute plans to optimise financial performance of in-life products or gain support for new investment opportunities.

*Identify market opportunities and define mobile portfolio vision, strategy and roadmap that underpins our overall corporate business strategy and delivers operating cash flow budget.

*Work to attract, develop and retain key product management talent to drive successful growth in the portfolio.

*Launch great new capability enhancing existing mobile products and developing new products underpinning sector specific propositions that help win new customers and grow its business in SoHo, SME, Enterprise, Public Sector and Partner markets.

The Candidate

As a player/manager of a small team, you have excellent commercial skills, you have strong analytical and strategy skills, you know how to successful define, develop and successfully build new B2B mobile products and propositions. You lead with example blending strategy and execution. You are action orientated and can break down complex problems into steps but can also help the business priorities and take a bigger picture view. You are comfortable communicating at board level and effectively manage and influence a broad range of stakeholders across the business developing and leading activity to optimize product financial performance, from NPD, IT and Operation teams to colleagues across the marketing department to sales, commercial and the senior leadership team. In short our successful market challenger mobile portfolio and continued growth is underpinned by your customer insight, product strategy and execution through effective leadership unpinned by great cross business collaboration.
