All About Us

Myhermes is part of the Hermes UK business (c15% of turnover). Myhermes c2c business is the largest competitor to Royal Mail in the UK c2c market, with 18% market share of the defined c2c market. We currently handle 19m parcels per annum via our own site and over 4m from indirect sales channels, with growth expectations to increase market share in the next 3-5 years. Myhermes turnover exceeds £90m pa (2016/17).

Our International offering currently contributes an additional £2m pa (2016/17). Growth is expected from broadening the service proposition, and working with more partners. In 2017 we have approved significant capital expenditure plan, as part of a strategic digital programme

All About The Role

  • Your main role will be to grow annual sales year on year
  • Manage the website P&L
  • Create new in demand products to support your goals
  • Ensure that all new products are listed on all channels as soon as they are available with the right images, content and pricing, and that current products are maintained to their full potential
  • Regular market and competitor research, identify new opportunities
  • Learn about our products and keep up to date with changes, contributing to the new product development team.
  • Weekly understanding of customer on boarding / activity trends, retention etc by segment focusing on volume / revenue and rate
  • Responsible for promotions & discounts on the website
  • Point of liason between the digital marketing and IT development teams

All About You

  • Education level - degree or equivalent
  • Experience working in e-commerce websites with a proven track record in delivering sales growth and innovation
  • Have a deep understanding of eBay and Amazon market places
  • Proven expertise in email marketing, search advertising (SEO, PPC, AdWords) and display advertising (re-targeting)
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to make data-led decisions are a must to improve the performance of platforms
  • Report on sales performance via weekly/monthly dashboards and ad-hoc analysis. You own your numbers and are responsible for hitting the targets
  • Experience in using Microsoft Office (Excel, Word etc) and Photoshop
  • Customer centric focus

  • Must be detail-oriented, highly organised and a resourceful manager who seeks alternative ways to get things done
  • You must be an innovative, relentless and a problem solver
  • Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
