We are currently looking for a Specification Technologist to join our team based in Bodmin. The primary objective of this role is to create, maintain and update accurate product specifications for our products that are produced on site. As part of the Technical Team you will work closely with our New Product Development team and wider site team. Responsibilities will include the coordination and checking of artwork to ensure that products comply with all relevant legislation and also the management of internal specifications, along with other duties.

The successful candidate will ideally have previous experience within a similar technical environment and have a thorough understanding of the process from concept to launch within a food manufacturing environment. An understanding of legislation within the food industry, as well as food composition and labelling, awareness of nutrition, food tolerance and allergens would be advantageous.

We are encouraging applications from self-motivated, well organised and enthusiastic candidates that work to high standards and have a keen eye for detail. A good level of computer literacy and the ability to communicate well on all levels is also essential. Ideally you will hold a food science degree, or equivalent.
