Corporate Communications Manager

We have a great opportunity for a Corporate Communications Manager, to assist the Head of Communications and wider PR and communications team in broadening and executing a corporate focused thought leadership PR programme.
Auto Trader listed on the London Stock Exchange in March 2015 and is now a member of the FTSE 250 Index. As we move into the next phase of our plc journey, we are looking to broaden our corporate PR strategy to use the media to successfully influence both analysts and the wider City alike.
You will work with both our PR and communication and investor relations teams to lead and support a thought leadership plan that positions the business as the experts in the automotive industry. You will support the team to deliver regular corporate communications and events. You will also be expected to forge and maintain relationships with national businesses and automotive media.
You will have excellent writing skills and be proficient in writing for a variety of formats from press releases to advertorials, and from social media posts to internal team briefings.
We are also looking for significant PR experience, either in-house or agency side, having worked with a mixture of consumer and B2B brands. It would be beneficial if you have experience of working with FTSE 100 or 250 companies. Ideally, you will have worked with clients across automotive and/or digital retail businesses and have a proven track record of delivering campaigns in line with KPIs and budget.

This role is to be based in our London office and the successful candidate will also be required to be flexible to travel to our Manchester office as needed.
