Do you have experience as a project manager for technical investment projects? And do you enjoy a large organisation with a sharp production focus? We are looking for a dedicated project manager for machinery and process facilities in Tulip Ltd Fresh Central Engineering Department to initially be located at our site in Ashton-Under-Lyne near Manchester.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring that your projects are fully implemented in terms of technical solutions, personnel, production and material flow. Your tasks will be mixed differently:

Project management of investment projects at factories within the Fresh Division. The projects are carried out in close cooperation with the factory management and the Engineering Manager at the individual plantResponsibility for the involvement and coordination of expertise in the necessary disciplines for solving the overall task - including professionals in Tulip and the Danish Crown Group (IT, sales, production, etc.), external advisors, suppliers, contractorsResponsible for project budget, schedule, quality and capacityPurchase of services from subcontractors, including obtaining offers, negotiating and entering into contracts.You will be located at our site in Ashton, and the role may include travel activity both in UK and abroad.

Professional Profile

You have an engineering qualification at minimum level 5 (BEng). In addition, you have some years of practical and relevant experience as a project manager. You have experience with complicated machines, high technology production and / or packing plants - very much from the food industry.

Personal Skills

You are focussed on targets and objectives, and have good communication and dissemination skills at all levels. In addition, you are analytical, good at creating an overview and following up on things. You enjoy working independently, but you also focus on teamwork across the organization.
