Our client is a leading company in the UK offering independent behavioural care for commissioners across the UK. They are currently recruiting for a highly skilled Service Manager for a very special home for children and young people where daily living experiences and activities are meaningful and memorable and are designed to meet the needs of individual children in areas that are personal to them. This is a registered home for young people aged 7 to 19 who have complex needs which may include autistic spectrum disorders (ASD) and complex associated difficulties. This home is open 52 weeks per year.Children may also have challenging behaviour as a result of their communication difficulties and lack of social understanding. Within a safe, structured and predictable environment, pupils will develop the skills needed to live as independently as possible, so that they are able to enjoy their lives and make real life choices as they reach adulthood.The core task of this senior management post will be to ensure excellent standards of care and therapeutic services are maintained. You will ensure that the environment and all services provided comply with statutory regulations, governance and quality standards. The post holder will undertake the Registered Manager responsibilities with Ofsted and provide strategic leadership ensuring a process of continuous improvement.
