Graduate Teaching Assistant - South West London ***Graduate Teaching Assistant required for January 2018 ***South West London based secondary school ***High achieving secondary school ***Teacher Training School ***Immediate & January 18 starts ***Daily Rate - £60 - £85 The Role - Graduate Teaching Assistant Our high achieving secondary school require a positive Graduate Teaching Assistant who has achieved a 2:1 or above in he core subjects of English, Maths or Science. As a Graduate Teaching Assistant you will be required to provide 1:1 intervention as well as small group work and therefore must have strong behaviour management skills and be able to deliver intervention sessions in a clear manner encouraging students to achieve their highest potential. Your responsibilities will also include assisting in the planning and running of extracurricular activities in the build up to the busy examination period. The ideal candidate will have a 2:1 or above in the core subjects of English, Maths or Science and have the desire to become a teacher in the near future, as a Graduate Teaching Assistant you must be passionate about education and have excellent subject knowledge. In return dependent on your performance throughout the academic year the school will offer the right candidate a place on the schools direct teacher training scheme in September 2018.
