SENIOR USER EXPERIENCE DESIGNER – c£70,000, SOUTH WEST LONDON

As a result of continued and impressive expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for an ambitious Senior UX Designer with strong design and hands-on skills to join this impressive company, who are pushing the boundaries of possibility within the Digital arena.

Role:

This is a Greenfield opportunity where you will be joining a brand new UX team, working cross-functionally within a well-established Digital Product team. This senior UX role is not an enabler of people, rather a role of technical excellence. So if you are looking to step your career in the direction of technical excellence, rather than manager of people – this is for you!

There are four core work streams, so you will have plenty of work to be doing but you will need to bring your expertise to the table and start building the foundations for UX.

They have invested in and adopted a highly Agile/Lean way of working, however you do not need to be ‘Agile Certified’, but you do need to share the same working ethos as this methodology prescribes i.e. Working collaboratively with people, sharing ideas and working together to come up with best solutions – they are creating a flatter, non-hierarchal structure where everyone counts.

As the Senior User Experience Designer, you will take ownership and help define user experience and research within the business, who highly value a user-focus. You will be working on:

• Research - scripts / test plans / gathering research participants
• Wireframes
• Customer Insight - Behaviour / personalised journeys
• Prototypes
• A / B Testing
• Requirement gathering
• Multiple User Journey

You will be a key point of contact across the business, so your remit will include talking to many different areas of the organisation; both technical and non-technical audiences including both internal and external stakeholders, customers and various teams in the Digital space, including a customer insight team working closely on research.

You will manage and own the design strategy with the UX team ensuring design and innovation are at the forefront of your work.

You will think 'what questions should we be asking and solving', working on multiple customer journeys and taking a highly analytical approach to UX research.

As the Senior User Experience Designer you will put your analytical mind to work, focusing on user research and customer analytics, ensuring the customer experience exceeds expectations.
