Role Overview

This exciting new position has arisen due to company growth. The role of the Data Analyst & Stock Controller will be to manage the full product lifecycle through our business whilst ensuring that our inventory stays within agreed KPIs. They will have responsibility for creating and managing our annual total product forecast which will then be broken down by category and supplier. To support this activity weekly reports will be required to share with the departments heads highlighting our total actual vs. forecast by manufacturer along which the performance of each business unit actual vs. forecast. The role will also be required to support the leadership team with regular management information reports. You will be working within the purchasing department but also closely with the finance team and business leads providing reporting, insight and guidance on all aspects of inventory and product performance.

Role Responsibilities

Create daily, weekly & monthly reporting for all inventory holdings.

Managing inventory usage and replenishment across key holdings

Implement improvement processes and systems to optimise inventory, reduce costs and improve working capital

Supplier forecast management and inventory control.

Working with ERP team to ensure the systems reporting is optimised as per the inventory requirements.

Responsible for managing internal stock count calendar

Deliver analysis and reports to support decision making.

Support board with Management Information demands

Experience of working within a dynamic working environment.

Numeracy, analytical thinking and attention to detail.

Advanced Spreadsheet Skills - Able to integrate data from numerous different sources.

Strong analytical skill and the ability to interpret financial and non-financial data.

Excellent communication skills and the ability to work across multiple functions and cultures.

Highly IT literate with good system skills / understanding.

Self-Starter - Able to identify the issues and use intuition to resolve.
