The Role:-

Our client, a well-respected insurance brokerage based in Gloucester, are seeking a Commercial Account Handler to join their expanding team.

Role outline:

- Develop and maintain positive relationships with existing client accounts;
- Identify cross selling opportunities
- Deal with incoming New Business enquiries
- Generate New Business enquiries by asking existing clients for referrals
- Provide broking and administrative services to clients;
- Raise potential issues with the team leader/account executive as appropriate;
- Manage renewal process, placing cover on best terms where appropriate in accordance with clients needs.

Key Requirements

- 2+ Years Commercial account handling experience
- Cert CII Qualified or be willing to work towards
- IT skills - including MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook and ideally experience of using the Open GI system
- Good organisational and planning skills.
- Proactive attitude
- Willing to learn and enhance own knowledge/skills
