Are you a newly qualified Occupational Therapist looking to join one of the UK's largest providers of specialist adult services in mental health rehabilitation and learning disabilities?Then this is the job for you!My client is seeking an Occupational Therapist for their specialist service for adult males and females with learning disabilities and other complex needs such as autism, personality disorder, mental health conditions, forensic histories and challenging behaviours.This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get experience working with a wide variety of clients with different diagnosis. The hospital benefits from a fully equipped activity centre both on and off-site so that opportunities for rehabilitation are maximised. Positive Behaviour Support and Active Support models are embedded in what they do, to ensure all patients have a voice and are supported in the way that suits their needs best.In this role you will:Work closely with the other Occupational Therapists, Therapy Coordinators whilst alongside a multidisciplinary team to provide quality assessments and interventions within the Model of Human Occupation and according to the Valuing People principles.
