Private Client Advisor
Our client is a leading Gloucestershire insurance broker and has a position to advise and arrange general insurance contracts, to consumer and commercial customers. The main focus will be to Private Clients and where applicable to Micro and SME Businesses. Details Working within a team of Private Client Advisor's, the role manages own allocated clients, with a view to maintaining and increasing this with cross sell, organic growth and new business. You will report directly to the General Manager or to a Director.
Key Outputs and Responsibilities
Manage mid-term adjustments, renewals and new business opportunities
Identify and contact potential clients
Gather and record sufficient client information and identify client needs using our back office system or by using an insurance provider’s proposal form or risk capture.
Analyse information gathered and undertake sufficient research to make suitable recommendations.
Complete all supporting documentation in an accurate manner.
Attain and maintain competent status as defined by the Regulator and the firm.
Maintain performance standards in accordance with those outlined required within the firms’ systems and controls.
An approved and relevant insurance qualification and sufficient experience Personal Lines/HNW within the industry to meet the required technical knowledge and other relevant skills.
Establish and maintain a sufficient degree of competence relevant to the role
Detailed knowledge of the firms and FCA record keeping requirements.
Practical experience using Acturis would be ideal.
