Are you an experienced Merchandiser/Senior Merchandiser who is passionate about retail and problem solving scenarios? Are you open to starting a project based Merchandising role in January on an initial 6 month FTC?

Our client, based in South West London, is looking for commercially minded, experienced merchandisers, with an excellent proven track record in a fast paced complex retail environment to come and work as a Project Merchandiser (6 Month FTC).

As Project Merchandiser (6 Month FTC) you will be in charge of planning, presenting and delivering a project for 2018. You will be heavily involved in key process/system changes and training of these changes to the team. You will be working very closely with the Head of Merchandising and will stay have some responsibility with regards to the successful delivery of sales, profit and stock targets through coordinating and coaching team members to forecast and deliver an efficient forward plan for your category.

This opportunity would suit someone who has previously been involved in projects as it allows you to look at the merchandising process and consider how to make changes to process in the current business to give better availability. You will review the development of your forward plan, reacting to trading conditions to ensure delivery of your category strategies and availability.

With an eye for detail, you will regularly scan the market place to understand current and emerging buying habits within your category area. Analyse data and provide an insight on range performance, identifying and recommending commercial actions where necessary.

As the Project Merchandiser (6 Month FTC) you will ensure sales and stock data are as accurate as possible, through regularly checking the robustness of the WSSI data, raising areas of concern and dealing with these accordingly.
