We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced PR and Communications Officer to join our award-winning Charity. You will provide creative, flexible and measurable communications to meet our aims. Developing and delivering key communications through a range of channels so as to strengthen our external profile with key stakeholders, funding bodies, supporters and within the Third Sector in general.

Working closely with the CEO you will establish and execute the PR strategy, be responsible for managing/responding to all press enquiries and identify, build and maintain relationships with key local, regional and national media outlets.

A minimum of two years’ experience within a similar roleProven experience in copywriting or in the PR/Media environmentStrong interpersonal and communication (verbal & written) skillsCustomer focus and the ability to take ownership and solve complex customer issuesExcellent organisational, time management and multi-tasking skillsA positive, can-do and resilient attitudeSelf-motivated with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.In return we offer :-
