An experienced Accountant is sought by a Cumbernauld-based business for a Part-Time Financial Controller position. The Company Privately owned by the management, this business is going through an exciting period of growth, developing new markets and products and seeing revenues increase by 50% in the last two years. Following an internal restructure, a Part-Time Financial Controller opportunity has arisen. The Role Reporting to the Managing Director, you will oversee all financial matters within the business and ensure all processes are fit for purpose. You will be supported by an Finance Administrator and you will be responsible for the training and on-going development of that individual. Responsibilities Oversee the production of Management Accounts and presentation to senior management Manage all month & year end financial reporting Oversee Credit control and debtor management Cash flow management and forecasting (long term and short term) Management of accounts payable, and relations with supplier accounts teams Preparation and submission of VAT returns Payroll, including overtime and reporting to HMRC Weekly bank recs Supporting the management team in developing systems, reporting and KPIs Manage and develop staff and deal with issues as required On Offer This part-time opportunity will cover approx 3 days per week and there will be flexibility regarding the hours you work. The full-time equivalent salary will be up to £40k, which may be negotiable, depending on experience.
