Accounts / Finance Assistant
Our client are a large government organisation and are looking for an experienced Finance / Accounts Assistant to join their team.This is initially a 3 month contract which may be extended for the right candidate.Our client is looking for someone who can come on board and help maintain the financial books of account ensuring the accurate and timely production of financial information, primarily you will be responsible for the sales ledger and credit control.You will also be assisting in the purchase ledger and purchase to pay.
The successful applicant will be responsible for the maintenance of the accounts receivable which includes the invoicing of annual and quarterly billing of members and levies.You will essentially responsible for credit control and producing weekly / periodic reports on the aged debtors to senior Leadership and CEO as well as highlighting and engaging with the engagement team for those who have not paid. You will also manage the processing and reconciliation of purchasing cards and be the primary contact for purchasing card queries.
To be considered for this role you will have significant experience of working within a finance department and have strong experience of purchase to pay and purchase ledger.
