Content & Social Media Manager

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 per Annum


We are currently working with an exciting business, based in Macclesfield who have recently experienced tremendous growth. Our client is seeking a Content and Social Media Manager to take full ownership of web and blog content alongside managing all social media channels.

Experience of development, design and implementation of a variety of marketing campaigns on Social Media ie Facebook etc.

If you are passionate about social media and content creation, this is the ideal role for you. You will be responsible for creating content strategies and implementation, working across various marketing channels and be passionate about the brand to ensure increase in sales and brand exposure.


Managing the content across the websites including product, web and blog content
Manage paid social channels and ensure ROI through successful campaigns
Managing the content for the social media platforms
Create branded imagery and videos as well as written content and work closely with the in-house design team as well as looking at innovative ways to obtain user generated content
Work commercially, creatively and analytically to monitor performance and report regularly on campaign execution
Build and manage the company's social media profiles and creative presence, in line with brand guidelines, working as the brand guardian to maintain digital best practice, overseeing all channels and advising on ways to improve processes / engagement
Owning the email marketing for the brands (strategy, reporting, compiling the content for the emails and working with the design team for the assets needed for the emails)
Researching various topics to create engaging and relevant content for the site and social media, and executing this content
Supporting with all marketing activity, including launches and campaigns etc
Come up with initiative ideas and have the know-how to drive and execute them

Key skills and requirements:

Degree or relevant work experience.
Digitally savvy - must display an interest in social media, new apps and technology
Highly strategic social approach - ability to deliver digital marketing strategies effectively and measure the efficacy of campaigns using insight tools

Experience of development, design and implementation of a variety of marketing campaigns on Social Media ie Facebook etc.

Confidence when dealing with senior members of the team, including key stakeholders and business owners
Confident that you could drive brand engagement and uplift across the social spectrum and advise on best practice (based on previous experience /ongoing competitor analysis)
Collaborative and strong work ethic
Active and well-rounded personal presence on social media, with a command of each network and their best practices.
Excellent communicator and creative thinker, with an ability to use both data and intuition to inform decisions.
Ability to work to tight deadlines
Team Player with the ability to work across multiple business functions to achieve objectives
Bonus experience and skills include Adobe Creative Suite, demand generation marketing, inbound marketing, and blogging.
