3rd Line Support Engineer - up to £35,000 + £3,000 + 25 days holiday, pension, healthcare, health insurance and share options
Based in Bristol (BS2), Commutable from Bath, Gloucestershire, Weston-Super-Mare
We are seeking a 3rd Line Support Engineer for a Bristol based vendor who provide storage solutions to a worldwide customer base and reseller channel. The infrastructure team are specialists' in the design, implementation and ongoing technical support of customer solutions. Partnering with well-known organisations such as Cisco and VMware this is an opportunity with a business at the forefront of technology.
3rd Line Support Engineer experience required:
* Windows server and MS operating systems installation, configuration and support (MCSA/MCSE/MCITP desirable)
* Virtualisation experience - either VMware or Hyper-V
* Networking and TCP/IP
* Experience of RAID (5 and 10)
* SAN / iSCSI / general storage knowledge and experience
The ideal candidate will have a range of skills across the installation, configuration and administration of windows servers as well as a strong level of troubleshooting experience. You will be the type of person who is comfortable dealing with customers and autonomously making decisions. This is an excellent working environment and is a genuine career opportunity which will suit an ambitious 2nd/3rd Line Engineer.
