Location: Cheltenham, Gloucestershire
Salary: £44K – £60K, DOE
Contract: Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37 hours Monday – Friday
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary individual to lead the development of our training and consultancy operation.
This is a very exciting opportunity to shape one of our most important areas of service, and to deliver vital support to hundreds of organisations within our diverse client community using cutting-edge tools and techniques.
Working with a small “in-house” team with big aspirations and huge enthusiasm, you will:
- Build and manage a larger team of contractors that will help us to significantly broaden our capacity and portfolio of services.
- Be given the space to apply your creativity and innovation whilst being supported by leading experts in UK higher education, business growth and commercial development.
Our Training and Consultancy function exists to equip staff within higher education organisations with the skills and knowledge to make best use of the wealth of data and information available to drive improvement. Last year we delivered 140 events to 2600 delegates covering seminars, workshops, conferences and webinars. Our new consultancy function enables us to provide tailored support to a range of clients from universities through government bodies to private companies within and beyond the UK.

HESA's bright and modern offices are right in the heart of Cheltenham, situated on the Promenade – the proximity to the shops, cafes and bars make this an attractive location and provide opportunities for socialising.
The salary range for this post is £44k - £60k dependent on skills and experience.
We offer an attractive package with initially 25 days leave, increasing to 30 days, plus bank holidays and extra Agency shutdown at Christmas; flexible working including remote and home working options; pension scheme and occupational health support.
