Our client are the leading professional association for school, college and system leaders and they are currently seeking to appoint a field officer to undertake casework supporting their members. The post will cover the Midlands, supporting the regional officers.

The post requires up-to-date knowledge and experience of the issues facing the senior leadership teams of schools and colleges and the ability to deal with individuals at a senior level. The post will suit applicants with recent experience as leaders of educational institutions or administrators with good experience of school or college management and a strong interest in professional issues.

This is a part-time post and field officers are paid on a five point incremental range from £50,815 to £55,974 starting at £50,815 which is £25,408 per annum at 0.5 pro rata. Reasonable travel and out-of-pocket expenses are also covered.

Field officers normally live in or very near the boundary of the region that they serve. If you are interested in this work and do not live in the region, please enquire as in some circumstances this may be accommodated. The post-holder will work from home with regular contact with and visits to HQ in Leicester plus regular training sessions. IT and telephone equipment will be provided.
