Hays currently work with a secondary school on the border of Warrington regularly requiring Supply Teachers.

Your new company
This secondary school is based on the border of both Warrington and Wigan and has an excellent reputation. Hays have worked with this school for a number of years and have always received excellent feedback from teachers who have been to the school and the school is clearly a popular choice amongst supply staff. Due to recent changes within the school, they are keen to have a pool of Supply Teachers based locally.

Your new role
Joining the school as soon as possible in this Supply Teacher Job, you will be responsible for working with classes of between 25 and 30 pupils whereby the work will already have been set, therefore providing you with a good work life balance. The schools typically have 2-3 requirements each day and sometimes, this is planned due to pre-planned absences and others it can be last minute due to sickness amongst staff. The role of a supply teacher does not require work to be completed outside of the school and also allows you to build strong relationships with schools locally. Regularly going into the school, you will build relationships with both staff and pupils and will also allow you to keep in touch with your teaching skills, whist maintaining an attractive work life balance. Supply teacher roles can be for as short as a day, however can also be more long term.

What you'll need to succeed
In order to be successful in securing a Supply Teacher job with Hays, you must possess Qualified Teacher Status and be willing to work in schools on the border of Warrington and Wigan, with the ability to get there with 20 minutes. You must possess excellent behaviour management skills and be able to build positive relationships with pupils, as well as being flexible in regards to the subject you will be covering.

What you'll get in return
In return, you will be paid a competitive daily rate of between £95 and £150 dependant on experience and the longevity of the position and will also have an attractive work life balance.
