Maintenance Engineer
Due to rapid growth of the business we are currently looking for Maintenance Engineer to join our company.
Key Role Accountabilities•Responsible for carrying out a wide variety of electrical repairs, installations and maintenance tasks, including CNC, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC’s), Hydraulics and Pneumatics, in order to ensure machines are operating to optimal functionality and to minimise machine downtime•Able to carry out fitting, welding, fabrication, plumbing and joinery, where required, in order to ensure the site is well maintained at all times.•Carry out weekly checks on compressors and monthly checks on emergency lighting across site•Where applicable, able to manage the coolant management procedures, including monitoring coolant strengths, logging results and running the dipstick programme, in order to ensure coolant is kept within the recommended company limits.•Ensuring compliance with Health and Safety, ensuring guidelines are followed in accordance with the Company Health and Safety policy and legislative requirements.•Working in accordance with the company’s policies and goals in order to ensure consistency across the Business Unit Structure•Any other duties that may reasonably be required by the Company from time to time.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required•Good written and verbal communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external parties at all levels•Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task, with guidance and supervision.•Strong team player•Holds a 16th/17th Edition Certificate
