To provide corporate and financial counter-party credit analysis and assessments for a global commodity trading portfolio.

Client Details

A financial services firm based in The City of London


- Collect and verify data from counter-parties and other sources for the preparation of credit reviews
- Provide credit analysis and prepare credit review proposals for submission to the Credit Committee
- Ongoing monitoring and maintaining of counter-party credit review requirements
- Monitoring of financial markets and financial press which impact on counter parties
- Assist in the preparation of weekly Credit Committee minutes
- Assist in the preparation of weekly excess reports for weekly Credit Committee
- Assist in checking facility documentation
- Provide support on ad hoc projects as directed by the Head of Credit & Risk


- Analytical skills gained within a financial institution, with some experience writing credit applications
- Ability to form and justify independent credit decisions
- Some knowledge of financial brokerage business lines (i.e. futures & options, FX)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with internal & external clients
- Persuasive communicator (both written & verbal) with confidence when being challenged.
