The Community Staff Nurse is a key member of the Integrated Community Team, providing robust clinical services for patients, working closely with allocated GP practices across their Integrated Care Networks and with members of the team from other professions, putting the patient at the centre of the care.The Community Staff Nurse is responsible for ensuring the effective provision of Nursing care to an identified population within her/his competency. She/he would act up for the District Nurse and regularly take charge of a Nursing caseload when the relevant competencies have been achieved.This is a challenging and exciting position where you will be supported both within your teams by regular clinical reflection and professional training.This is a challenging and exciting position where you will be supported both within your teams by regular clinical reflection and professional training. Your normal pattern of work will be agreed with you by your Line Manager subject to the needs of the Employer, flexible working arrangements (agreed by you and your Line Manager) and the Working Time Regulations. The rota will be pre-planned and will include various shift patterns that fall between the hours of 8 am - 22.30 pm examples of these shifts are: 8.15 am - 16.15 pm 10.45 am - 18.45 pm 14.30 am - 22.30 pm Please note these shifts are subject to variation. In addition you will be required to work a minimum of 1 weekend in 4 weeks (there is flexibility to work more should you wish).Person Specification: You will need to be a qualified Adult Nurse with current NMC registration and previous experience gained within Community Nursing.Benefits: They offer staff generous holiday allowance (dependent on length of service) and excellent training and development opportunities.
