We are looking for a Year in Industry - Junior Technical Standards Engineer to join our team in Nottingham, Derby or Stoke. At E.ON, our UK Infrastructure Services team is always exploring new and innovative ways to deliver against evolving needs – from Electric Vehicle Charging to Smart Street Lighting. And you’ll be right at the centre of it.
What you’ll do
This is a Year in Industry placement where you’ll join our operations support team, to work on traditional connections and street lighting activity. This includes:
•Helping to develop and monitor process and procedural safety and quality across the business
•Supporting risk analysis
•Coordinating cross-functional work groups to combat complex issues
•Helping to deliver training
•Contributing to projects such as electric vehicle charging and smart street lighting
•Monitoring KPIs and communicating actions as needed.

What we’re looking for
•You’re working towards a 2:1 degree in engineering or management.
•You are highly process-oriented, can spot areas for improvement and enjoy driving through change.
•You’re analytical, have strong evaluation skills and are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
•You’re an excellent communicator and extremely well organised.
•You have a genuine interest in the UK power and energy market.

This role is based in Nottingham, Derby or Stoke.
