Also included in the upgrade will be the Imaging and short stay departments, increasing the number of pods to 19. You will also have access to free onsite parking and a fully subsidised staff restaurant serving high quality hot and cold food daily.Reporting to the Pathology Manager, you will assist in the development, organisation and management of services within the specialty of expertise provided by the laboratory. This wide-ranging role will include planning, assessing, analysing and reporting on pathology investigations as well as supporting research and development and developing the skills of others. Committed to succeeding together, you’ll also plan and monitor the application of technology for measuring and monitoring pathology investigations.A registered biomedical scientist with the Health & Care Professions Council, you will have a degree or HNC in medical laboratory sciences or equivalent enabling eligibility for associate membership of the Institute of Biomedical Sciences. This will be complemented by a proven track record of working in a performance-driven scientific laboratory, including supporting the commercial development of pathology services. It’s likely you’ll have experience of helping to create innovative solutions for new pathology services.
