Your new company
You'll be working for a market leading business who supply goods across the globe. You'll work at their Leicester site which is going through a period of improvement and growth. They now need an experienced Multi-skilled Engineer to join their highly skilled team.
Your new role
You'll be responsible for carrying out planned predictive and reactive maintenance of the plant, ensuring that all equipment is maintained correctly and in a timely manner in order for manufacturing to operate efficiently. You'll carry out planned and predictive and reactive maintenance of machinery and equipment across site and carry out workshop duties such as machine repairs and component manufacture. You'll be required to retrain in new methodology, technology and engineering techniques as the business needs arise as well as to train others in the maintenance of site wide machinery and equipment.
What you'll need to succeed
You'll be multi-skilled with Electrical qualification and training - 17th Edition. You'll also hold a relevant engineering qualification. You'll ideally have experience of FMCG operations but this is not essential. You'll be able to demonstrate experience and knowledge of PLC fault findings/diagnostic along with health and safety ethic and HACCP. You must be PC literate as you will be required to use computer based maintenance systems. Flexibility is an essential requirement of this role in order to meet departmental / business needs. You'll have strong communication skills, be able to work within a team or and on your own initiative with a positive can-do attitude.
