Our client is a London law firm with an international reach.

They are looking to hire an experienced Legal Secretary to provide secretarial and administrative support to such fee earners as may be nominated from time to time by the partners and to ensure the efficient conduct of all cases undertaken by fee earners in a cost-effective manner, whilst maintaining client care, client confidentiality and professional standards as the utmost priority.Role
  • To prepare correspondence and documents using audio typing, word processing or digital dictation methods
  • To administer filing systems which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files
  • To prepare mail and enclosures for despatch.
  • To arrange for all copying to be done
  • To make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date diary for the Partners
  • To attend to clients both in person and on the telephone and to provide such communication in a professional manner in keeping with the Practice's standards for client care
  • To undertake any specific training when required to do so and take responsibility for own self-development
  • To ensure the confidentiality of all practice and client documentation and information
  • To maintain professional standards at all times
  • To carry out any other duties and responsibilities that may be required by the Partners

Candidate Profile and experience:
  • Experience in diary management and customer service
  • Previous Legal Secretary experience in Litigation
  • Confident communicator with good telephone manner
  • Minimum of 60wpm / audio
  • Knowledge and experience in Oyez forms, Outlook, Word, Windows XP, document production skills, basic litigation knowledge
