The Role – Field Applications Service Engineer (Laboratory Diagnostics)

This market leader seeks to recruit a technically motivated and customer focused Field Applications Service Engineer, responsible for providing applications service, technical support and customer training on a wide range of sophisticated medical laboratory diagnostics systems, utilised within pathology departments, NHS laboratories and clinical chemistry environments. The successful applicant will support clinical chemistry and blood diagnostics products located at customer sites.

Your Background – Field Applications Service Engineer (Laboratory Diagnostics)

To succeed in this exciting position, you must be able to demonstrate experience in one of the following roles:

  • Applications specialist providing customer training and technical support on laboratory diagnostics equipment.
  • Biomedical scientist using immunoassay, clinical chemistry or haematology analysers within a pathology laboratory.
  • Field service engineer repairing medical diagnostic systems, with a strong knowledge of chemistry.
