School Premises Manager

Required for January 2018

35 hours per week (8am-4pm), plus lock up time

52 weeks per year

28 days annual leave entitlement

£29,439 + London weighting (Scale PO1)

Governors are seeking a new Premises Manager who will be responsible for maintaining a safe building and grounds. You will be responsible for the maintenance, compliance, security, heating and safety of the school grounds for all users, budget and line management. Tasks will include: unlocking, locking and securing the school, carrying out and/or arranging repairs, assisting with plumbing, decorating, carpentry, electrics and cleaning etc.

We are looking for someone who:

* possesses building maintenance

* has a good eye for quality, takes pride in their work and appreciates how important a child's l learning environment is

* the confidence and ability to act on your own initiative, dealing with unexpected problems that may arise

* has a positive outlook and a good work ethic, taking pride in your work

* has good communication skills

* has a good level of computer, written, numeracy and oral skills

* has the ability to form good working relationships with adults and children
