As the largest employer in Harpenden, the hospital prides itself in offering excellence in clinical quality, customer service and cleanliness.We have an opportunity for a qualified Nurse to join our close knit and supportive Outpatient team at the Spire Harpenden Hospital. Nurses looking to work on a full or part time basis will be considered between 20 and 37.5 hours per week. The department will see 250 patients per day on average covering a wide variety of Surgical procedures so this is an excellent opportunity to widen your clinical experience. Reporting to the Outpatients Department Sister, you will assess patients’ health and wellbeing, develop plans of care and assist in the delivery of care. Alongside developing your own skills, you will support others to develop their skills and expertise.Passionate about caring and making a difference for our patients, you will be a registered nurse with experience of working in teams. Fully trained in infection control and health and safety, you will ideally be working towards a post-registration qualification in a clinical specialism. You’ll definitely bring strong communication and problem solving skills and a collaborative approach.
