Insurance Broker

Due to recent business wins driving an increase in sales, we are looking for experienced insurance brokers with tenacity, ambition and an aptitude for sales to join one of our specialist insurance teams.

Brightside has rapidly grown over the last ten years to become a top 20 Insurance Broker. However, we are not stopping there and are committed to achieving our long term goal of becoming a top 10 Insurance Broker and we know a big part of this will be down to developing our people into insurance specialists.

Following the acquisition of the business in 2014, by Anacap Financial Partners, we have completed a near £20m transformation programme.

This exciting Insurance Broker opportunity will see you join one of our specialist insurance sales teams, gaining extensive knowledge of niche insurance products giving you the foundation for a long term career within the insurance and financial services industry.

What are the Key Responsibilities?

Dealing with new customers and compiling a bespoke insurance policy, ensuring you meet all of their requirements and expectations, and utilising your product knowledge to meet their needs first time round.

Using your product knowledge you will be contacting existing policy holders to build a renewal quote based on their insurance needs, ensuring we retain their business for another year.

To ensure all clients insurance needs are met, you will build strong, lasting relationships with them, allowing you to identify opportunities to offer further relevant additional products and services.

To ensure you have a thorough understanding of our products and procedures you will receive continuous in-house and at times externally provided training, to allow you to give customers superb customer service and accurate information at all times.

Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure overall objectives are met.

Who Should Apply?

  • Experience of working within the Insurance or Insurance Broking industry
  • 2:1 degree or above in any subject
  • Successful candidates should be driven to become future leaders. They must have a strong willingness to learn, exceptional interpersonal skills, strong numerical skills and, although not essential, previous sales experience would be preferred
  • Experience of working to targets and/or tight deadlines
  • Fluency in English is a pre-requisite
