Our client a leading garden centre supplier, is looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to join their team on a 12 month contract. They are keen to drive their business further forward, deliver growth for their customers and cement their position as market leader.

The Job

To develop, implement, track and optimise our clients' digital marketing activity across all digital channels, providing the relevant tools and support to drive a successful e:commerce business.


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

Design, build and maintain their social media presence across all media channels to reach key influencers and support sales in both e-commerce and traditional sales sectors.
Identify trends and insights in the digital space, making recommendations for future activity and optimising marketing spend based on these insights.
Understand and inform key stakeholders of the consumer/shopper interaction with the digital space, across key categories, of the consumer journey and the role digital activity has to play in driving both e:commerce and traditional sales.
Design and implement SEO plans for the relevant brands/categories.
Measure and report on the performance of all digital marketing activity, making recommendations for changes to activity and plans as relevant.
Manage the marketing e:commerce budget, as allocated by the marketing director, ensuring activity is delivered to time, quality and budget.
Manage third party digital agencies.
Engage with the Category team in the planning process and day-to-day activity to ensure they maximise the opportunities for e:commerce and the role digital media can play in driving total category sales.
Working with the Category team to identify and execute relevant social media campaigns across identified platforms.

eCommerce B2B Platform

Work closely with the e:commerce sales team to deliver annual sales and profit targets.
Own the B2B website delivering both a content and eCommerce platform to allow customers to 'self-serve' - i.e. keep abreast of latest news, campaigns NPD, whilst placing orders across the full product range.

Learning & eCommerce Development

Keep abreast of emerging technologies and develop a strong understanding of developments in the digital arena, acting as digital expert and making recommendations for future digital marketing activity.

Experience

3+ years in leading and implementing integrated digital marketing activity across multiple brands.

Education

University degree or equivalent
