Responsibilities for the Tax Assistant job in Reading include:
- Preparing and submitting personal tax computations
- Liaising with HMRC
- Reporting directly to the Tax Seniors and Tax Managers
- Providing tax support on ad-hoc advisory projects
For this Tax Assistant job in Reading, you will need to be ATT qualified/part qualified with a minimum of 2 years working in a public practice firm. You will also require a flair for client care along with a keen interest in corporate and personal tax matters. We are seeking an individual whom would love the opportunity to develop a career in Tax.
To be successful in this role you will ideally need some basic experience of preparing personal tax computations. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated and hard working with the ability to self-review. You should have effective communication skills (both written and verbal), and will also need to be highly IT literate (knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook essential).
