Are you an experienced Medical Writer looking for a more strategic leadership role?

One of the world leaders in full service Healthcare Communications are looking for an Editorial Group Director to join their flourishing Medical Education team in their stylish central London office.

Whilst continuing with hands on writing on occasion, the Editorial Group Director will take responsibility for mentoring and developing junior writers, ensuring that projects are scientifically accurate and strategically aligned. You will be predominantly focussing on a large Oncology account and will work closely with clients, helping to create and develop successful programmes that deliver measurable results.

With offices across the US, Europe and Asia, this well-resourced agency are internationally recognised and have established strong partnerships with many top pharmaceutical companies. The Medical Education team boast expertise across multiple therapy areas and project types including publications, meetings and digital communications.

  • Medical Writing experience at a senior level in a Medical Communications agency.
  • Strong scientific background with broad therapy area knowledge, Oncology advantageous.
  • Line management experience with strong leadership and motivational skills.
  • Ability to think strategically.
