Purchase Ledger Supervisor

We have over 180 colleagues throughout the UK working in a variety of roles and we are now looking to recruit more colleagues including a Purchase Ledger Supervisor to join the team in our band new Head Office in Stourport on Severn.
As a Purchase Ledger Supervisor you will be responsible for the effective running of the department, which will involve:
·Ongoing training and development of two enthusiastic and progressive direct reports
·Responsibility for high volume invoice processing, which is likely to increase with further expansion
·Overseeing weekly and monthly payroll runs to ensure accurate and timely completion
·Overseeing the bank, cash book, expenses, one off payments and payment runs
·Ensuring accuracy of Ledger account reconciliations and journal postings
·Coordinating activities with other finance departments to ensure efficiency
·To complete, update and manage various financial reporting
To be considered for the role, candidates will need to demonstrate the following experience and attributes:
·Solid experience within a Purchase Ledger role
·Experience of high volume invoice transactions and the ability to work with pace and energy
·Supervisory experience, ideally as a line manager and the ability to coach and develop a team
·Strong academics to include GCSE Mathematics and English level B, and strong decision making and analytical skills
·Excellent communication skills and the confidence to lead and engage a team
·A positive attitude and a willingness to see things through to completion
