dunnhumby is currently looking for a Senior UX Designer to join our growing User Experience team in London. Working on a variety of products, this is a hugely exciting opportunity for a UX Designer passionate about creating a seamless digital experience and who can design products to meet the needs of our users and dunnhumby stakeholders. You will take responsibility for the usability and design of the product and will be integral to each aspect of the product process, starting with the project plan, through to research, development, launch and testing.

This is a fantastic time to join dunnhumby as we undertake a large scale project to improve and invest in our development process with a significant focus on customer/user centric design.

Key Responsibilities include:

Own the User Experience Plan for your assigned product(s), which details the research and design activities appropriate for building a product with great UX, one that is usable, useful, desirable, valuable, accessible, credible, and with findable contentLead and facilitate any user research, design workshops and testing sessions.Use qualitative and quantitative research techniques to understand the end users of our products, their personas, priorities, goals, pain points and user journeys, which will inform how we build productsDesign and build wireframes and interactive prototypes in order to validate that our product is right for users and, working closely with our product development teams, communicate requirements and designsRun user testing activities to improve usability, validate any assumptions we’ve made about our users and facilitate the iterative improvement of our designs / in-development productsEnsure that products have the right information architecture to help users easily and intuitively find or navigate to the right content to achieve their goals.Work with visual designers and content specialists to ensure that our products are aesthetically pleasing and have consistent branding, tone of voice, and look and feelDesign visualisations for products where appropriate to ensure that data science insights are clearly communicated and actionable for usersPerform heuristic evaluations of dunnhumby or competitor products in order to identify good and bad usability
Key Requirements:

Previous experience of working within an Agile environmentProven experience of; User Research, Usability Testing, Information Architecture Design, Interaction Design, Usability principles, Data VisualisationDigital/Online WritingGraphic designAdobe Creative SuiteRapid Prototyping software experience, e.g. AxureBachelor’s degree or equivalent in related subject
