The Yolk Engineering & Technical team are currently recruiting on behalf of a leading manufacturing business based in South Wales. This is a great opportunity to join their maintenance team as a Maintenance Engineer. In the role of Maintenance Engineer you will be involved in the maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical plant machinery and be a key member of ensuring the plants continual performance. Your responsibilities will also include:·Installation and repair of electrical and mechanical components·Keeping track of all faults, breakdowns and repairs·Responding to breakdowns and emergencies·Fault finding and diagnosing ·Following PPM schedules to ensure maximum plant efficiency·Maintain high levels of Health & Safety during practice·Help to develop and support a team of apprentices The successful candidate will have specific experience which include:·Time served Electrical, Mechanical or Multi-Skilled apprenticeship or qualified to a degree level in a similar discipline·Experience of working in a manufacturing environment·Experience with single and 3 phase electrical systems·Experience with Hydraulics and Pneumatics·Excellent fault finding and troubleshooting ability·Ability to work flexible hours / shiftsIf you believe that you have the skills and experience for the role – then please get in touch.
