A leading manufacturer of sensors and sensor solutions is looking to recruit a Sales Engineer to join its UK workforce. The role will see you sell their range of sensor and Auto Ident solutions into the Courier, Express and Parcel Market. The ideal candidate will hold an electrical/electronic qualification and have sales experience in Courier or Express or Parcel Market.
Commutable from: Milton Keynes, Northampton, Luton, Bedford
Salary: Up to £ 40,000 p.a. + Company Car Allowance + Bonus (OTE £ 50k) + Private healthcare
Suitable for: Area Sales Engineer, Business Development, Technical Sales, Account Manager
Establish and maintain knowledge of Factory Automation products and their applications within Industry Sales
Developing and maintaining expert knowledge of all application and systems solutions relevant to the CEP marketSell those products and applications to existing and new customers and develop customer base
Establishing and maintaining knowledge of competitors' products, prices and discount structures
Working closely with the Manager - Industry Sales in order to prepare and implement Account Sales Plans in a given sales territory in order to achieve growth by generating new business and assist with setting sales targets for the relevant sales areas
Work closely and effectively with the Systems Plus & Product Management Teams in order to ensure that the technical solution is understood and clearly delivered to the customer
Assisting the Manager - Industry Sales in ensuring that the Market Segment functions as a seamless business unit with common understood goals, shared knowledge, best practice, complete visibility and sharing of all segment data and information and most importantly complete interdependence of all other teams
Formal qualification in Electrical / Electronic Engineering at least to BTEC HNC/D level or industry-based equivalent
Account management skills acquired in a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role Knowledge of or experience in working within the Auto Ident and Materials Handling sectors would be preferred, but not essential *Knowledge of or experience in delivering Systems/Capital sales proposals to end users is preferential
