Concept are currently recruiting for a Service Desk Analyst (1st / 2nd Line) for a client based in Guildford

The client are looking for a self-starter, being able to retain end to end ownership and resolution of calls working within the IS Service Operations teams.

Responsibilities of the role -

  • IT Support of all office, overseas and home based customers use a broad variety of mainstream and bespoke applications on Windows XP/Windows 7 operating system
  • Provision of remote desktop support to all customers
  • Administration for Windows 2003/08, XP, Win 7 Exchange, RAS (Secure ID), Internet and Intranet
  • All work completed within agreed SLAs
  • Delivery of excellent customer service
  • Attend and support site visits where required

The ideal candidate should have an excellent working knowledge with the following -

  • Experience as a 1st/ 2nd line desktop analyst
  • Troubleshooting of desktops/laptops and associated applications
  • User and desktop account administration e.g. Active Directory
  • Good knowledge of DHCP/DNS/WINS and Active BES server and Blackberry Troubleshooting directory
  • MUST be able to pass a basic vetting screening

Initial 3 month contract - with a good chance of an extension

Normal working hours Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30 based in the clients offices Guilford offices

Rate - £110 - £130 per day - dependant on experience (umbrella / Ltd Company)
