Job description:

Electrical Maintenance Engineer



What you will do

You’re going to be working in one of our manufacturing facilities on the production of leading gas and foam fire suppression systems.

This role will see you spending your time working within a manufacturing environment on planned and preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance and maintaining workshop material counts.



How you will do it

You will be responsible for ensuring the equipment and environment is operated and cared for and meeting all necessary performance and safety requirements, looking at improvements to the efficiency and eliminate costs from the business, repair and maintain all factory equipment and machinery in a timely and efficient manner, follow work schedules and react to production priorities, full involvement in TPM schedules and continuous improvement projects, when necessary facility maintenance support would also be part of this role.

Required profile:

What we look for

[Required Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience]

· Electrical maintenance engineer ideally 17^th edition qualified

· Experience working in a manufacturing environment

· Must have a minimum recognised Electrical Engineering qualification

[Preferred Qualifications – Education, Skills & Experience]

· Knowledge of high pressure systems and cryogenic gases would be advantageous.

· Lean manufacturing knowledge and experience.

· Mechanical and machine maintenance experience.

· Fabrication skills e.g. able to manufacture small parts to enable the safe quick repair of essential equipment where possible.
