Benefits: BSC (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship (day release) - fully paid
Salary: £12,000pa

We are looking for someone who is willing and happy to embark on a BSC (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a desire to gain a valuable industry recognised qualification, at the same time as working and earning a wage. The qualification is fully paid for and you will be released 1 day per week (during term time) to attend university.

The entry requirement for the Degree Apprenticeship is Maths and English GCSE grade A-C or equivalent 104-112 points at A2 (Grades BCC) or acceptable alternatives. These include: BTEC Subsidiary Diploma, Extended Diploma at Level 3, BTEC Diploma in Information Technology, Science or an Advanced Apprenticeship in a related subject.

Job Purpose:
* To assist the Technical Team with their duties.
* To understand how all products work with a view to supporting the company.
* Learning to work with multimedia, people, electrical/electronic build and test.
* Develop the practical skills required to excel at technical services, in a dynamic and diverse commercial environment.

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
* Assist the Returns Department in identifying and reporting all returns as they're received into the warehouse.
* Assist the Marketing Department in producing short videos to demonstrate our core products. Liaise with the New Products Director with regard to priorities and time scales for productions.
* To assist and learn from the Product/Technical Manager by carrying out a range of tasks which are designed to stretch your understanding and encourage positive work practice and experience.
* Work alongside Product Manager checking new private label products (sample testing) and existing private label electrical products (Batch testing) and fill in reports accordingly. Checking screen print, plugs, cables boards for safety and overall product safety.
* When deemed able, present new products and technical concepts to the Sales team.
* Act alongside the Sales Team in regards to technical support/demonstration of products to customers.
* Attend university to learn basic health and safety, electronics, computers, CAD and material physics.
* To complete homework. This training material centres on computer science, CE compliance and is designed to develop a better understanding of computers, operating systems and peripherals (printers, scanners etc).
* Commitment to undertake a Degree (Paid for) in BSC (Hons) Digital and Technology Solutions Degree Apprenticeship

* Excellent communication skills
* Accuracy and attention to detail.
* Professional manner
* The ability to work on own initiative
* The ability to work under pressure and in difficult situations under supervision
* Knowledge of own limitations. Must be prepared to undergo formal further education at University and within the workplace.
* A desire to develop within the company and the industry
